Who we are

That is our heart -  to know, love and follow Jesus and to help others do the same. 

We are known by, loved by and led by the One True God. 

We are led by the Holy Spirit to do these things so that

God's Kingdom will be advanced in the world and people will know 

His saving grace and live in a relationship with Him.      

We desire for people to experience abundant life found only in Jesus.

 John 10:10 guides us to focus on our mission. 

Jesus says, "I came that they may have life and have it abundantly."

Oasis Church is built on the foundation of Jesus, God's Love and God's Word (The Bible).

Sunday, September 13, 2020, Oasis Church held our first worship service. 

Previous to that, in the spring for 2020, a small group of people gathered and prayed. 

They wanted to know what God wanted them to do. The result was the beginnings of Oasis Church.

We have been blessed to worship in two amazing locations - first at Isaac Newton Christian Academy, until a construction project began in the space we were meeting and then we were blessed to begin meeting in the brand-new Hilton Garden Inn in Cedar Rapids, where we continue to gather each Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Not only do we gather in worship, we enjoy going out for lunch regularly, 

experience community together through O.C.s (Oasis Communities or small groups), 

celebrate and connect through Vacation Bible School, Confirmation/Middle School Ministry and more.

We are always learning and desiring to experience God - and the adventure awaits with God as our guide.

An oasis is a place of life. It is a place where those that are thirsty can find water. 

Where those that are suffering can be refreshed and restored. Where we grow.

God is an oasis in the midst of a dry, thirsty and weary land. 

The Church is the people who gather to grow.  

Together we experience abundant life by growing in relationship with Jesus Christ.
