Why Jesus?
This is exciting! Did you know that God is speaking to you and your coming here is evidence of that? The God of the Universe wants you to know Him and have a relationship with you. Think about that!
So who is Jesus?
Jesus is God. He said this Himself, and it's recorded in the Bible (See John 10:30, John 8:58). Others in the Bible agree (see Titus 2:13, John 20:28, Hebrews 1:8). Another way we can be assured that Jesus is God is that He fulfilled all of the prophecies of the Old Testament! Additionally, as He walked the earth, as recorded in the Gospels (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), we learn about how Jesus did things that only God can do, and He powerfully described His relationship with God the Father and the Holy Spirit! The Bible describes God as three in one, the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit.

Why did Jesus come to Earth?
God came to Earth as a person, Jesus of Nazareth
- to save us (Timothy 1:15)
- to give eternal life to those that believe in Him (John 6:51)
- to tell us and show us the Truth (John 18:37)
- to reveal God's love (John 3:16)
- to bear witness to the truth (John 18:37)
- so you can have abundant life (John 10:10)

Why should you care about Jesus?
Saying it a different way, "Why does it matter?"
- God loves you!!! (John 3:16, Romans 5:8).
- Jesus offers forgiveness for all your sins (1 John 1:9).
- He can free you from things you struggle with (Romans 8:2).
- If you believe in Him, you will spend your eternity in heaven with Him (Romans 10:9-10, John 5:2).
- If you do not trust in Jesus, your eternity will not be in heaven but will be somewhere you do not want to be (Matthew 25:41, 46, Revelation 21:8).
